There was a boy abducted on october 6, 2002, at the age of 11, and has been missing since. then january 8, 2006, another boy, age 13, was taken from near his home. then on friday, january 12, 2006, BOTH boys were found together in the same home!!!!
the same man had taken both. the 11 year old is now 15. they are both back with their families now and are trying to get on with their lives.
while the boys were with this man, they were both, most likely, sexually assulted many times.
everyone is calling it a true miracle that both boys are back!! i am so happy for both boys!!

So, what do you think of that story???

It makes me sad that the boy wasn't found sooner to end his ordeal earlier. It seems there are many people with eyes wide shut if he was living there without anyone suspecting for so long. I am absolutely disgusted at the man you abducted him, people like him should be severely punished to stop other abnormal people like him from doing the same. Prison it just too good for them.

I would like to see special training schools open for kids that can teach them to defend themselves and advise them what to do in hostage situations and how to escape or call for help.

It's great that both are back with their parents. According to the news, some people are looking at aspects that the kidnapper had 2 jobs and was at work alot leaving the older boy alone with plenty of opportunities to make an escape if he wanted to. The older boy had a cellphone, computer access to where he freely communicated with others and even had his own websites. He was out driving the truck and going where he wanted, had many friends, had went and got body piercings, even had direct contact with police - reported his bike stolen and didn't take the chance to escape and even gave his last name as the kidnapper's.
If the older boy had taken advantage of his many chances to tell police where this kidnapper was and put this man behind bars then this man wouldn't have had the opportunity to kidnap the younger boy.
A few people are questioning whether the older boy played any role in the kidnap-or-holding of the younger boy.

I have also been following that story very closely. I feel very sorry for the now 13 year old. He was trying to leave many hints to his parents without getting caught by the man who abducted him. He wasn't allowed to go to school, no interaction with anyone. He must have been very scared. I am grateful that the parents never gave up hope. I think that it is so important to do, and they are perfect examples of why people should hang on to hope. I just wish that all the missing children were found and reunited with their families. It is an absolutely wonderful story. I couldn't be happier for both families.
