I really do not know what career I should choose. I definitely do not want to be in the medical or the technical field.
Any advice?

First of all, I understand. And this is a problem that gets no sympathy from those more fortunate, who have always been blessed with knowing how they want to spend their lives.
I know this is a cliche, but it's true:
Find something you'd do your whole life for free, and find a way to make that your career.
What do you love doing? What makes your eyes light up? Make that your life's work.
Try to think outside the box of college majors and career fields. Find what you love.
Also, DO as much as you possible can. Experience will teach you what you love doing. I would never have considered being a teacher if I hadn't ended up teaching swimming lessons in high school. I loved it, and I love being a teacher.

Try this link to the US Department of Labor. It lists different industries and jobs. If you have a career counselor at your school, take advantage of that. They have tests that can target what you're best suited for.
But in the end, what gets you jazzed? Go with the things you like. I know my first 2 years of college, I had no idea what I was doing. It wasn't until my last year or so that I figured it out :-)

I would definitely have to agree. Find your niche in what makes you happy and figure a way out to use that to enrich your life. It took me years to become stable enough and comfortable enough with myself and what I love to do and I found just the right opportunity for me and I absolutely love going to work!! I have a full time job that I couldnt ask for a better one and Im also the owner of a small business. both enriching my life in different ways and I wouldnt know how miserable my life would be right now if I hadnt found both of them!!

First, you have to figure out what it is you like to do. Do you like gardening? Then maybe a floral shop would do. Think of what YOU like and go for it.
