Her cousin asked him out for her and he said that he would rather shoot himself then to go out with her. And she had really liked him for the past few months and she even gave him a christmas card and he just crushed her. If he would have just said no, she wouldn't be so upset. What can I do to help her get through this? Do you think that this guy is a complete jerk?!?!?!? Thanks!

That's why they call them crushes. If they didn't hurt, they'd be called something else. And yes, that's from Sixteen Candles. She'll be fine. Give her the shoulder to cry on that she needs and remind her that she can't possibly want someone who is that disrespectful.
