Sadly I think that things would not have worked out as well. Famous people when they die (for the most part) get more famous because more people find out what they did. Look at Kirt Cobain from Nirvana (music), he has the biggest income for a dead person right now. There are many more examples such as artists. Anyways, if he was still alive he would have to defend what he said with even more and it gets more and more difficult to keep the people interested; even though this subject is a very controversial one. I think his death did more for the black community then if he was still alive today. Sad, but true.
