Squirt it with lemon juice, then heat it up in a toaster-oven.
But be very careful not to touch the heating elements or your project will go up in flames within an instant.
Practise this with a sample sheet first.

1. You can buy printer paper that looks like parchment. It's sold in boxes of 20-50 pages and it's in the stationary aisle at Staples, Office Max, etc.
2. You could hand-write your stuff on a paper bag, tear the edges, crumple the paper up, then smooth it back out.
3. If you're really careful, you can rub a damp tea bag on plain white paper, let it dry, and THEN write or print on it (otherwise the moisture will smear your writing).

Soak the paper in tea. (Coffe can make it too dark to read sometimes). It should wrinkle and stain itself. Then, you can burn the edges of the pages.
Make sure to do this stuff to the paper before you write on it, otherwise you might have to do the entire journal over.

If you want it to look older, you should burn sides of the pages and maybe I'm just saying maybe spill coffee on it or something brown. But when you do that you can leave it on long or else it will ruin the paper/ journal.

Make some hot tea and pour it into a baking sheet with sides. Soak the paper in the tea and then let it dry. It will get brown, brittle, and wrinkled.

When I had a similar assignment, I crumbled the paper up and then dipped it in slightly warm tea. After it dried, it looked properly old and worn.

Long time ago I had a similar project, and we sprinkled some lemon juice on the paper, and slightly burned it using a lighter. Try it.

You can dip it in tea or coffee and let it dry and it will be brown. If you want to make the edges look worn you can burn them slightly but make sure someone is with you if you are not in highschool. Good luck!

OK well i think you should dip it in apple sider, and let it dry over night, it will get crumpled and have a brownish color to it, if not apple cider then apple juice, or any other liquid that would change the color and texture. :) good luck
