Is it worth it to get a ps3 or not? I really want one, but it's to pricey and i'm not sure if i should get one or not. also wat are the pros and cons? is it better then xbox 360 or any other consule?

I already own a ps1, ps2, psp, gba sp, and a ds. i also had a gamecube but sold it.

though the PS3 is the best in the business today, i have heard that despite the praise from critics, the graphics of the PS3 does not live up to it's status. i have also heard that the disk opening tends to freeze up and get stuck, completely destroying your machine since its hard to get open again. i would suggest either a Wii or a Xbox 360. the Wii might be intended for a younger audience? but the Xbox 360 i would say it the best bet for you.

You definately should get a ps3 because it has better graphics than the 360 you can get more playtime out of the system because it won't overheat like the 360, it's a better brand and it also has more quality and it is the goodest console out there and it also has a better processor, it's more little than the 360 and it also has a bluray disc player in which you can play bluraydisc movies in high definition and you can also put your playstation and playstation 2 games on it and play them. Hope this helps you out.

you would be a 1000 times better off with xbox 360 because ps3 has bad online gameplay compared to 360. and ps3 is a disappointment right now because its not even selling. xbox 360 is still out selling the ps3 even if the ps3 just came out. can you say ps3=LAME and xbox360 has halo 3 and gears of war wich are 2 of the best games ever.

it's way too pricey. the 360 is awesome, has the best on line gaming (fifty bucks a year...less than the cost of a game). If you run it with a wireless network, you can stream music from your computers onto it, or you can plug an mp3 player directly into it's usb ports to listen to music. the on line arcade where you can buy games for cheap is super cool. the ps3 has potential for a bit better graphics, but the 360 has more games avail and awesome graphics. you won't be let down by the 360 and you won't pay nearly as much.

You should wait to see if there are good games or not before to buy it. It's too early currently. I am disapointed by sony with the psp so I will probably buy a ps2 instead of the ps3

well the Xbox360 does cost just 300 for the core (ask someone else what that is) and 400 for the premuim (ask someone else what that is) and it has more games sense it's been out sense 2005. the PS3 just came out a few months ago on november so not that many games are out yet.

no you should not get a PS3
well at least right now.
if you want a great system.
Its the 360
this system has a great past and future for not nearly as much money
Maybe in 5 years the ps3 will be close to it

If you spend that much money on a PS3 you'd better be bringing in a 6 figure salary. Otherwise wait till the price lowers. Its not really that great, and you'd only be jumping on the bandwagon.

the ps3 is just like the xbox 360 but different drivers it is up to you. the graphics are really closse
