i need something that will work...but it needs to be under 80 bucks(preferably around 60 or less)

i think it will because it is the X300 series and according to these tested cards it works fine

That's an extremely low end card, it's NOT a gaming card at all. Goto www.tomshardware.com for video benchmarks. That will give you an idea of what is needed. btw, you need 30fps or better to play the game (fluid movement-no shuttering). Some say playing single-player can drop to 10fps once in a while and not affect the game too much, but the average will be around 30fps.

I was looking around for a new videocard myself for BF2, the cheapest and one that is just slightly above the minimum is the GE-Force 7800.
Its around 90 dollars 100 including tax and is sold in Bestbuy from my knowledge

And that’s not a realistic price for a graphic card.

not a chance -
let me put it this way - $270 cards (7950GT, X1950XT) cant play BF2 maxxed out at a common resolution - at least try a 7900GS or a 7800GT (if your budget is really tight)

oh my ... prolly not well if at all ... i would go for somthing like an nvidia 73 or 7600 and still it wont work well.
