I personally prefer the machete' and a paintball gun(semi-auto) loaded with special made 66 cal. epoxy balls. I keep a razer edge and 1500psi. Id say if your dumb (get caught) enough to get close youll get a ravor sharp suprise. From 20 feet I can shoot through 1/4 plywood stayback further than that and YOu might be able to run off with a few serious bruses.

We have a house dog (decent alarm), 22 rifle, 12 gauge shotgun, 38 special and a .380 automatic. If you re leery of weapons, a good burglar alarm (FROM A REPUTABLE COMPANY) is very effective. It also helps protect your home while your gone. They can notify police, fire, or a family member if the alarm is tripped.

2 mean dogs, 1 attack cat, 2 loaded guns, a surveillance camera and my very loud scream...Never had a problem..
