when would he go off the CCL? 3 months? 6 months?

correct, you can't drop him...he's on the can't cut list...as the name normally implies, you can't cut a person on the can't cut list...

I had the same problem last year with a guy who went out for the season early in the year and I had to keep him on my bench for a long time. I don't remember exactly, but it wasn't till well after the trade deadline (in your league, not the NBA's) that I could finally drop him, I think there might have been 4-5 weeks left in the season. So unless he is definitely out for the season you won't be able to drop him this year.

Odom is also on my line up and we have no choice but to be patient with him bacause he's on CCL. He'll hopefully reportedly to play within this month. He'll be back and give you the nos. you need.

Once a player is on yahoo's can't cut list, they are on it for the season. The only way you would be able to cut him is to get your commissioner to go into commissioner tools, and turn off the can't cut list, so you can cut him. That, or you can wait a couple mroe weeks until he comes back.

he'll be coming back soon, I'd wait if i were you.. if an injury will get 2 months or more time to heal, yahoo takes the player out of cant cut list, i guess.. I've dropped Jason Richardson after he broke his hand..

Trade him! You can probably get some qualitiy players for him.

try to trade him for someone who is less talented but less injury-prone (he was on my team, and I traded him for Tayshaun Prince)
