Haven't the producers heard of a regular Quiz, you have to answer a few harmless questions and then you can win or not. This is a very sad case, and not the first, I might add. The organisers should be charged with manslaughter or worse. It was a crazy, idiotic thing to perpetrate.

How utterly silly.

I remember when I lived in the States, our local radio station (WKTI) held a 'Baby Derby'. It went on for months. Two couples had a race to get pregnant - I'm serious - and whoever got there first won a free nursery and a huge amount of cash.

She didn't drown to death. She died in her own home hours after the contest from water intoxication. Basically, she washed away all of her electrolites.

No! I knew that if you drink way too much water it does something to your brain and you die but a gallon? It's a lot but I'm shocked she died.
