Aloha Mia,
I guess it's that control syndrome. I have been there and I just took charge and filed my own papers, wrote a letter to the court requesting review of the case.
Hun, It's the same ole song and dance, he just has to have his way.
I am sorry for being blunt, but I hear you. I remember when I first told my Ex "NO" and he looked at me with this disgusted stare and replied what do you mean? I calmly turned to him and said which part of "No" you don't get? the "N" or the "O".
I am sorry you are going through this however, I became a legal assistant because of all that.
I wish you luck, and remember it's all about control.
Mahalo,
Anna

Men have a thing about possession. They possess an emotional attachment to everything they come into contact with. Then when asked to drop the event that is tied to the emotion, they become bewildered, confused, deny it is happening, get angry and then they have release. Stop fighting in court and become detached. Leave him alone!

Because he still wants to hold on to the marriage that is why... If you want the divorce then you will have to come up with the money for it yourself to have it happen i think. He may still love you and he may still want the marriage.

Your ex has opened his eyes seeing you from the outside and he has the "if I can't have her nobody will" syndrome. You obiously have something special that he had forgotten all about until he realized that it didn't belong to him anymore. Just do your thing and know that there are enough of us to protect you from that crap. SMILE!!!
