I need for GOOD reasons why we should pay attention to our environment...=]

1) air
2) water
3) soil
4) food

All will be spoiled if we don't pay attention to our environment. You need all of these to live.

Or, you could approach this another way:
1) We won't have an environment left if we do.
2) Unless we address the problem now, we will leave an even bigger problem for the next generation.
3) If we ruin our food producing areas, what will we eat? Chemicals? And how expensive will that be?
4) It makes economic sense. The less we have to clean up, the less we will have to pay to clean it up.

One good reason is that we, human beings live in an environment. Other organisms live in an environment, too. If we treat it badly, there will be global warming. If you don't want your kids to live in a bad environment, then keep it clean. And, we want U.S.A to have a good reputation for our clean environment as well as the rest of the world who shouls also pay attention to their environment as well.

1 Global warming, parts of the earth will flood because all the ice in Antarctica is melting.
2 Pollution, all the smoke from cars and factories is taking space in the earth's bubble of air. after a while it will take the place of oxygen and we wont be able to breath.
3 logging, trees are the only things that make oxygen, and many are being cut down. which just speeds up the pollution.
4 If you don't take care of earth, the only plants you can live on will die.

The environment is not really a single thing, it's a collection of things that come together to create it. Every piece of it has a role and can have vast effects on other seemingly unrelated pieces (Chaos Theory).

The environment is an extension of ourselves, as we determine its destiny, it determines ours. A bad parent is more likely to raise bad children. A bad teacher is more likely to have bad students. A bad boss is more likely to have bad employees.

We should try to prevent global warming from happening...Uh...We need to protect all of the endagered species in our enviornment...And, um...Lastly, we should pay attention to our enviorment because it's what's around us and we should protect it.
