Mark, Mark, Mark a German Shepherd is a great dog. I have had three and I can't tell you the fun and love they provided me. I was safe as well. I think if you were to have a puppy and teach it the things you think are important you would be surprised at how smart and funny they are.
My shepherd kept me safe all the time. I had to put him down April 15 1991. He was the best dog. I will always compare all dogs to him.

my dog.. shes a mixed breed but shes the cutest baby ever (she looks like part lab, terrier and maybe beagle lol).. If I was to ever get a full-bred dog I'd probably get a pomeranian cuz they are so cute and cuddley! German sheperds are not scary they are cute and protective of their owners...(my hubby had one growing up)
