Dumbbbell. You phrase your questions in such a confusing format that it's hard to help you out. Two perpendicular dumbbells would be a d-orbital. A sphere would be an s-orbital.

s orbitals have spherical symmetry (spheres) p orbitals are sort of dumbell shaped (but if you add the three p orbitals (px, py, pz) together the result is a sphere). I think of them more as figure eights ∞... d orbitals do not have just one shape. same for f. You can see computerized probability maps on line.
