Yes but I would never advise this. You should at least start out in love for it to even have a chance to survive. I have 5 friends and within a period of 10 years I am the only one still married to the same person!

people get married all the time even if they are not in love. i am not condoning it, but it does happen... and a good percent of the time, even if they think they are in love, there is still a doubt somewhere in the back of their minds... nothing is perfect of course... i know some people that have gotten married because the person they are with is the closest or the best thing they have ever experienced... not necessarily what they have always pictured as their perfect mate... that is the best i can do for ya.... hope this helps

Absolutely. The divorce statistics pretty much beat this out.

What some think is love really turns out to be a misguided sense of how things should be and how they actually turn out.

Most of the time it just never works out like they think it will. And unless they are from families of means, the lack of money will present a terrible burden on them just to live.

Love somehow takes a backseat to everything else because they haven't the resources to do what will make their life easier and it affects the whole relationship.

People do get married although they are not in love and many times those marriages are over in less than three years... for a marriage to last you must truly be in love with your partner.
