Like the other person mentioned, I'd call the Airline and ask. Interesting question, I've never seen folks travel with Hermit Crabs before.

I would think that hermit crabs are very delicate and would die outside of their tanks. So, I don't think you have a good choice. You might have to leave them at home or if you are moving somewhere else and really want your crabs, set up a tank in the back seat of a car and drive them. The compression in cabin temps on a plane could kill them.

most planes dont allow pets but you can hide them somewere or somethin and not let anyone see them. but you will need to check on them to see if they are ok a few times on the plane. oh yeah, but try to do somethin not like a backpack cause it could get lost or people might haft to check you lugage for inspection first. be thinking of were you can hide them. if you dont want to hide them then call someone who is good with pets and likes crabs, mabie he or she will love to take care of the crabs till you come back from the plane. hope it works! from, ice cream.

Unfortunately NO. Your babys seem to be silent victims of the Jihadists. When i was younger i freely took some through customs in my carry on luggage. Nowadays, everything is checked. You could try, but the penalty for getting caught, losing them, would make it foolish. If you really have to, put them in your pocket, and carry them. Don't let Osama Bin Laden win.

Call the airline or look on line at there website. You don't want to turn up and not be able to take them on board.
