x^3/3x-10 = 20x +25/x^2 + 2x - 30

It's difficult to tell what you mean because brackets are especially important. For instance, on the right hand side, did you mean

(20x + 25) / (x^2 + 2x - 30)

OR

20x + 25/x^2 + 2x - 30?

I think you should delete your question, and rephrase it with proper bracketing. That will help us help you.

if u graph the equation, it crosses the x-axis 3 times, and since you have a third degree polynomial, thats the max number of roots.

it crosses the x-axis at -.735, 3.643, and u can solve for the last one
