It all depends on where you live.

It depends what State and City and which part of the city you will be living in. The least expensive for a One Bedroom Apt, would probably be about $450.00 a month. Average cost in an average city would be between $650 - $800. A really nice apt. with one or two bedrooms in the more expensive State's would run you about $900 - $1250. In New York City, $1250.00 would be a starting point for an "average" price. Good Luck ! :)

A 1 bedroom in the seattle area would be 800-1000/month and a little more for a 2 bedroom

A little on the expensive side since it looks like those are in Jacksonville. That would be dirt cheap in LA or NYC. Also remember that those prices today mean NOTHING for years down the road. They can be much muc higher depending on the laws of supply versus demand.

Depends on where the apartment is. In Knoxville, TN a nice one bedroom apartment will cost about $500/month

That really depends on where in the country you live. Where I live, about 6-8 hundred bucks is good enough. In NY, try $2000 per month.

In a city it could be as much as $1000 or more. I live in a small rural town and they go for about $500 a month here.

Depends on where in the country/world you are. Also depends on how big you want it (1 BR? 2 BR?) Last time I rented (2000), a decent 2 bedroom apt, it was ~$1100 where I live.
