Today it feels like the world is in one big rush, no one really ever stops to take a break or notice others. We're impatient, selfish and most of ther time only looking out for ourselves and family. Has there ever been a time in your life that a complete stranger, no one you have ever known or seen before, helped you out in some way, or took the time to notice you even just for a few moments, that completely "wowed" you? Or have you ever done something like that for someone? Serious answers only please.

I'll start...
After my aunt got divorced, she had three boys and no money. Her ex husband was a deadbeat dad who just didn't care all too much about anyone other than himself. My aunt is such a nice woman and always is trying to give my cousins what they need while not looking out for herself. Christmas morning she woke up to find a brand new tv, bike, clothes, gift certificates and a couple hundred dollars in cash on her front porch. That is a true "wow" from strangers~

She never found out who sent all those to her and no one ever mentioned it to the family. I just think thats pure human kindness right there....doing something very nice and not taking any credit for that!

I paid the toll for the person behind me at the toll booth. I would like to help anyone who was truly in need.
What gets me though, is when I see someone using their food stamp card to buy pop and candy and gum at the local conveniance store. True need ? I think not.

I worked at a bar for a long time and one sunday at about noon a guy walked in- he was the only person in there and so we talked for a while and he had 2 drinks and then gave a $100 tip and told me he felt bad for daytime bartenders cuz we make less money. Then he paid the bill for a table of 4 guys that came in and told them to give me a good tip so they gave me $45 and then he asked me to go get him cigarettes across the street so I did and he gave me a $50 to get em and gave me the change. I was stunned by this guys generosity

Kindness is needed today.
I believe in helping others even those we don't know.
