Hmm. No I don't think that I would. As much fun and great life is, I believe that Heaven will be so much better. I'm very grateful for the life that I have but I don't think that I would like to stay on Earth forever. I'd rather be joined in Heaven with my family and God. Sounds so much more peaceful. :]

I have my own beliefs, and I don't care what others think, not to sound rude, but everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, correct, incorrect, intelligent, or just plain foolish.
My view is that after we die, we all are resurrected. Our spiritual state now and when we die determines how happy we are in the second life, the life eternal. I also believe that we can change, if never taught the truth in life, can change and increase our happiness. However, a sin against the truth, to sin and deny the power of the Lord, would doom your soul to misery no matter what. I have learned that there are, and I know this for reasons I can't explain, multiple degrees of glory.
Imagine going to school and there was a big test to determine every students pay after school. Now understand that you can not say you are unprepared: every answer is given during the test, and you can use the answers they say. Some would still be foolish and deny the truth or ignore the answers, thinking that this test had no effect on them. Others would miss some or most of the answer, and would just be content with that. Some can not find the answers, but what to have the truth. Some are given the answers, and many pass, and a good number shun their knowledge or forget it for a time.
The great day when the test is over, your score is told to you. Some will be imprisoned for failing and even deliberately going against the test-givers. Some will have to pay for their crimes, but will gain a little glory. Some will not be high enough to get perfect, but still get more glory that the second or first groups. And some, I pray for the number to be many, will achieve the highest rank, and can even reach even higher, with their being three divisions in that "A-rank" group.
Now keep this in mind as I sum it up with this: Life is a test.

Yes. We DO have the choice, however. It's up to us where we want to live forever though. If you do good deeds you go to the eternal Heaven or Jannah. If you do more bad deeds, you go to the eternal furnace of Hell or Jahannum. It's all a matter of choice. Life is about choices. I tell my kids that all the time.
If you meant living forever on earth, then no thank you. This place is a mess. I don't want to be here longer than I have to. If things are so corrupted NOW, then what on earth is going to happen in the next decade or so?

Yes cause... it's so depressing we are only animals, we will die as any other animal in this world, we are insignificant. If you lived forever it would mean you would never get sick, so you would live yor life the best possible way... and, it would mean you would stop aging at some point (you cannot continue getting old without dying, cause getting older means, biologically dying)... 25 would be the ideal age... now, imagine all that knowledge, all that information in your brain, you would be the most interesting person in this world... all the things you'd get to see... no limits.... But... unfortunatly we are nothing more than animals.

The KrÌ£sÌ£nÌ£a consciousness movement is so beneficial that it can very easily counteract the contamination of material nature, which results from one's possessing a material body. Bhagavad-gÄ«tÄ therefore teaches, in the very beginning, that whether one is a man or a woman, one must know that he or she is not the body but a spiritual soul. Everyone should be interested in the activities of the spirit soul, not the body. As long as one is activated by the bodily conception of life, there is always the danger of being misled, whether one is a man or a woman. The soul is sometimes described as purusÌ£a because whether one is dressed as a man or a woman, one is inclined to enjoy this material world. One who has this spirit of enjoyment is described as purusÌ£a. Whether one is a man or a woman, he is not interested in serving others; everyone is interested in satisfying his or her own senses. KrÌ£sÌ£nÌ£a consciousness, however, provides first-class training for a man or a woman. A man should be trained to be a first-class devotee of Lord KrÌ£sÌ£nÌ£a, and a woman should be trained to be a very chaste follower of her husband. That will make the lives of both of them happy.

Preface: I do believe in reincarnation.
1. I do believe I live forever, but in various bodies, sexes and places for experience, knowledge & to improve myself as a human being.
2. I think whatever this lifespan plays out to be will be sufficient.
3. Bodies at this point are not designed to maintain peak levels of performance mentally and physically, so what would be the point in eternal decrepitation?
Good Luck and Warm Wishes.

Yes!
Because diamonds are forever ;-)
Really, I would choose to live forever because every day is new and there will always be progress.
And so I would be truly free to make my right or wrong choices without the fear of the irreversible without the fear that live is too short and I shouldn't waste it.

We all live forever - not as flesh bodies , but as immortal souls. If we really are Christians , we believe this . But if the question concerns with the body only , as being in unchangeable shape ( like in " Higlander " ) , the answer is " No" . In such condition, immortality might be a punishment , worse than any death .

No I would nnot care for that. I think most people have a fear ot death thus wanting to live forever. When my maker calls me home I'll be ready and go with a smile.
After time ones body starts to break down and that I wouldn't like. GEE, think how crowded earth would become.
