Fireman Sam would win. Postman Pat is too effeminate to win in any fight. Why else would he have a son and call it JULIAN???
Plus Fireman Sam has to be in top physical shape in order to carry all the portly villagers to safety after their minor house and business fires and also in order to save all the cats that inevitably get stuck up a tree, day in day out. I blame that italian mare, Bella Lasagne or whatever her bloody name is..........

that thing about firemen and their hoses is a myth. a fight is very unlikely as most firemen are being paid to sleep while postmen are out delivering. i suppose if the postie's house was burning down that evening they may come into contact but under those circumstances i suppose pat would be very glad to see sam and unlikely to provoke him to fisticuffs. i suppose the most likely scenario is if pat has been messing around with mrs sam and sam were to find out then i could envisage him taking the engine and the team out one morning to track down his escort van in a remote location and then 4 brigade members would pummel the custodian of her majesty's mail ( and jess ) to a pulp.

fireman sam has a helmet on, and fireproof vest, and has a effectual nosel which might knock pat out if he caught him spectacular. all pat has is a cat, whihc is small and could be out the way with one solid kick. the guy additionally has glasses indicating his loss of imaginative and prescient whilst in comparison with sam. besides, sam can purely whistle his group over.
