There's nothing between them, but out of experience and use I'd always plum for Castrol.
word of warning, if you car has more than 40k on it and has been run on semi synthetic since new (like 90% of cars) then do not switch to fully synth, as it'll cause leaks. What happens is the semi synth is a thicker consistency and drags engine particles into any tiny gaps or leaks and stops them before they spring loose. Synthetic washes all these build ups away and as a result, you start getting tiny leaks all over the place.

Comma would be the best choice. This is because Castrol is not a true synthetic oil, but more of a suped-up regular oil.

You need to look at the API and ACEA grades of each oil, and compare them. My guess is they will both be so similar that there isn't a 'best' one out of the two. I have used Comma oils for years, and I also use many of the other products and specilaity chemicals that Comma produce, and they have all been excellent, and very keenly priced.
My advice would be to make a choice now, and then stick to that choice in the future when performing maintenance, oil changes... etc. Personally, I'd choose the Comma oil.

1. how old is the car
2. how many miles on the clock
3. what is the car?
fully synthetic is manly for very high performance cars, or an engine with no oil filter ie
sit on tracter lawrn mower.
most cars will take part syinthetic 10w 40 or 10w 30
as far as make it dont matter they will do the same thing!
but do change every 6 months as 12 months is a long time and thats were things go rong. head gasgets and other failyers

A mechanic told me , synthetic.
didn't question him. I wonder though, does it depend on the car, engine size, diesel or petrol; etc. I drive a petrol 1 litre, I know , living the high life
