I know this is gonna suck but listen to her she is only trying to protect you from making some of the same mistakes she made when she was your age. Dating isn't all that and you have plenty of time for it.

If you are young, then mom may just be right in not letting you date. A good dating age is 16 for both male and females. But if you are under that, then perhaps suggesting double dating with mom and dad and go from there.

There are a few possible solutions to your problem
1)Date behind her back.She will most likely find out anyway eventualy. you cant hide stuff from moms very well(this could get you in trouble and then your mom would be less likely to let you do stuff cuz u would have lost her trust)
2)Talk to her about it. find out why she wont let you. try to come up with a solution that best fits both of you. if she says your to young then ask her what age she will let you date.
3)listen to your mom (this most likely isn't something that would make you very happy however you can still see the person you want to go out with a school)
Personaly i would go with the second one but you should choose as its your descision and nobody else can make it for u.

all my friends have been in situations like that and let me tell you keeping it a secret is NOT a good idea. They usually find out and then you get into looadds of trouble. Casual flirting isnt bad and harmful...just dont let ur mom see it

If your mom won't let you date you should honor her and obey her wishes. Thank God that she loves you enough to care about whether you run around with guys or not.

You could always keep it on the DL for awhile an then ask about it... but I guess it would all depend on how old you are...
