There's a few people of whom I wish I could have their life...seems so much better than my own... Better-looking, taller, more money, good g/f, nice car, more friends...just isn't fair sometimes.

How can a person learn to love their own life...instead of someone else's?

Good Question

Anyone may suffer temporarily from feelings of anguish from time to time. I know I do, but what gets me through is listening to a song, or my favorite show. Try to laugh and do things that make you happy. Know yourself and remember God cares for you;-)

yeah sometimes i do wish that i could trade lives w/ my best friend but in the end i'm really glad that i'm me and u can learn to love ur life by comparing their's to urs and in the end you'll find out that u love ur own instead of theirs.

I've never wished to be someone else because no matter who you are, you'll still always be faced with challenges, so you learn, in life, to overcome, before your challenges overcome you.

learn to accept and love yourself for who you are first and realize the only one for your own personal happiness and choices is you

Nope. I'm comfortable in my own skin. I'm not perfect, by any means, but I'm happy being me. Alot of times we see people who appear to have it all. But that's what we see on the outside. Nobody knows what goes on in their lives outside of what we see.

Absolutely not, I love who I am. Why would I want to be anyone else?? You need to love yourself for who you are, no matter what you look like, what you do, how you act, you should just be glad that your not a 'copy' per se of anyone else. Be unique, be yourself, just be. :)

how can you people say that you havent EVER felt insignificant and wanted to be somebody else?
at some point, we have all wanted to change ourselves, whether your willing to admit it or not.

what i've realized is that no matter what you do, not *everybody* is going to like you.
and appearance isnt everything, but it means alot to everybody.
just be happy with who you are, and if people dont like it, then thats too bad for them because you dont have to please anybody but yourself.

It's called self esteem, sounds like you need to work on that. There are tons of books out there on it.
