You should feed guppies live food, brine shrimp is best, but dry food, would be good enough if you feed your guppies live food at least once a month. Feed your guppies two to three times a day. The more often you can feed them, the better they will grow. But never feed them for more than 5 minutes. Nine out of ten fish die not from because you don't feed them enough, but from overfeeding. You should light the aquarium at least 12 hours a day (more light makes guppies grow faster).

You can just feed them flakes but its a good idea to throw in some live/frozen food once in a while like brine shrimp and mosquito larvae.

Also, you really should have done some more thinking/research about this before getting the fish.

At Wal-Mart they have this fish food that is cheap and it lasts forever, you only feed them a pinch it's like $5 and it lasts a really long time. If you don't have a walmart any store that carries a little pet section should have it.
