One of the nicest banquet halls for a traditional, banquet hall reception is the Royalty House of Troy... just google or search it on the yellow pages... it's very elegant and the inside is just as nice as the outside.
For a more budget concious place for a reception is Club Venetian in Madison Heights... it's not the biggest or most glamourous place, but it's very budget-oriented and if you're not looking to spend a massive fortune on the hall, this would be a good choice.

There are so many wonderful places...it depends on what part of the state you will be in. If in the metro detroit area look into The Henry Ford, you can actually get married in Greenfield Village at the Martha Mary Chapel and have your reception on site too.

between the nicest ceremonial dinner halls for a universal, ceremonial dinner corridor reception is the Royalty homestead of Troy... only google or search for it on the phone e book... it truly is totally classy and the interior is only as fantastic because the exterior. For a extra funds concious position for a reception is club Venetian in Madison Heights... it truly is no longer the most important or maximum glamourous position, besides the undeniable fact that it truly is totally funds-orientated and in case you're literally not searching to spend a huge fortune on the corridor, this is a sturdy selection.

Fredrick Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids. It is a beautiful place. They can do inside and outside receptions. I would suggest outside you can experience the sculpture park.

If you know someone who went to Cranbrook or is affiliated with Cranbrook, I believe you can do weddings there.
