A mirror. In its symbolic form, it's the sign for "female," just like a stylized shield of Ares is the symbol for "male."

The mirror, dove, and myrtle tree all represented Aphrodite. The Pentacle is a less used but far more powerful symbol of female divinity. It looks like a pentagon inscribed in a five pointed star. Aphrodite is also associated with the mainstrem symbol of feminism today. the circle with a cross at the bottom.

Doves. Also, her favorite island is Cyprus, and her metal is copper (Cu, for "cuprous"--Latin spelling of copper, which is named for Cyprus.)

She sometimes flies in a chariot drawn by doves.

Her name means, "foam-born."
