weird, isn't it?

I think it's okay. Strange, but okay. My only question would be if Scamper's genes are passed in perfect order, if that makes sense.

I really don't know what to think about there being white on his clone. I just sorta assumed that Scamper does have some 'white marking genes' in him. Maybe when he was cloned they showed through.

I am a bit skeptical about it. It's weird to have two of the same horse....

white can appear on clones. I understand yes hes a great horse and it is hard to let a good horse go so why not if you have the money to do it but the only thing that gets me is you cant register the clone and people may breed to it but you cant ask as much for a unregistered stud and who knows if hes gonna be just like scamper or not things do get lost in the cloning process who knows he might be sterile or not even be anything like the origanal. Scamper truly was one of the greats I do wish them well with it though

A clone is the same genetically, but white markings that are in the gene pattern may appear different on each animal. I know they have cloned a lot of horses here in Texas. This may have been done to preserve the bloodline, since Scamper is a gelding. But all of these horses are unregistered, since none of the breeds recognize cloning. And I can see a person, if you had a really super horse, wanting to keep him (or an exact) copy around as long as you could.
