I haven't seen a great deal of the programme, so I'm not going to follow the lead of many of these sanctimonious journalist types and rank 'Jade's Gang', so to speak, as racist/BNP activists/evil doers/etc.
However, I have seen last night's edition, and that way, I've heard a differing angle on the whole story. Jade puts it that she just dosn't get on with Shilpa. It could be fair to say that some of what is really typical bitchy bahaviour is being blown into a bigger issue than it really is.
Having said that, there are quotes like "Indians are so thin because they don't cook properly" (Jo), which you can very easily be racist. However, I'm guilty of stereotyping Americans for being unintelligent, but no one's called me racist.... yet.
Well, I suppose the US is a predominantly white country, so that can't be racist at all, it seems. Surely, this is clearly all down to skin colour.
I'm not saying for sure there's racism in this programme, which has so far been quite a yawnfest, frankly. There could be , but this could simply be the case of a few people who still think they're in a school playground, which has been the subject of some element of political correctness.
So, to sum up, and answer the question rather more directly, I can't see enough justification to be embarrassed by Jade's behaviour, based on what I've said. And besides, why be apologetic for any actions of this airhead?

I'm not embarrassed I'm really shocked something that nasty has come out of that girl's face... again.
Why are any of you embarrassed at her behaviour- it wasn't you who condoned that sort of behaviour. It is her and her ignorance. If she had all that money to better herself, she shouldn't have just thought about the materialistic things but to get a little brain exercise and to learn a little about the world and how to speak to people.
It's not your embarrassment- she may have her own range of perfume and be successful but has no idea how Eskimos survive- she got famous for not knowing what a verruca was. People complain about being ignorant because of the lack of facilities and background. Having the flexibility to better herself has meant only physically for her and her mother. Brushing up a little better doesn't give people brain capacity. Her agents must not have thought an education was important for her. Sad case.
Please don't you be embarrassed for a nasty girl like her. It's not your fault.

Yes and no -
Yes because its a shame that this is what the UK is beginning to be famous for - all the reality shows and thats embarrassing.
No because we are all individuals and we cannot control someone elses behaviour. I wouldn't behave like that and hopefully the majority of the rest of the world won't judge the rest of the UK by a TV programme. We are all responsible for our own behaviour.

I think she's gonna end up being like Oprah Winfrey...style and glamour queen for the whole country
What are the chances, seriously now... she could end up with her own channel, just showing her all day...
Here are some great program ideas for her:
* Maybe she could front an arts appreciation program about the Italian Renaissance, imagine what she could do with Michelangelos 'David' or the fall of Savranola in Florence, with the Vatican Museums and the Classical fountains of Rome, with St Peters Basilica?
* Jade Travels 'rand' Cambridge in London!
* Jade travels 'rand' Portugal in Spain
* Jade on the art history of Spain and France - discussing all the stunning architecure, the beautiful cathedrals, the art masterpieces... it would be a sure fire hit!
* Jade on Politics - they could call it 'I'm not tictactical' !
* Jade on food - 'Let's make our own asparagus'
and finally:

I think she could also give lessons to foreigners on 'Jade Speak' coz that's ow we talk 'ere in blighty now what oi mean spacker.

The only person who should be embarressed by Jade's behaviour is Jade.
If she had a single decent bone in her body, she would be throughly ashamed of herself - and I think Jackie should also feel shame, but then - she's more ignorant than Jade!

Me! My toes curl watching her and listening to the vile words that come out her mouth! I think every British person will be very embarrassed and ashamed.

Oh My God!!! I loved Jade the last time she was on BB but now, Wot A F**king B***h!! I can't get over it. Last night I was gob smaked by the three of them (jade, danielle and jo) Shilpa is so lovely!
