Is it ok to breed a male betta that is kinda bigger then the female?

Say twice her size?

i think thats how big they are expose to be!

She may not be old enough to have eggs, but if she is showing vertical breeding stripes then she's ok. Horizontal stripes are for stress, meaning "get me away from this relentless male".

well, make sure the female has eggs.. it'll be like beating a dead horse otherwise.
