There are some, but I wouldn't say a lot. Japan isn't a very diverse country. It is something like 98% pure Japanese. 2% foreigner.

Not really. Or at least I haven't seen more than two or three "Women" that is. I know several "girls" that are mixed, but no women. It hasn't been until just the last decade and a half that the present influx of caucasian foreigners began entering Japan. International marriages is most surely on the rise, though. So within the coming decade or so, I am sure you will be able to see more mixed women. Most likely up in the bigger cities like Tokyo or Osaka. But that is not to say that none will be able to be found in the smaller cities in the North and South. Japanese women, for the most part are attracted to foreign guys.

Not that I've noticed, no big number. I guess when it comes to celebrities there's Anna Umemiya and Rie Miyazawa is a least a little bit mixed. Ayako Fujitana wrote a book about having Steve Seagal for a deadbeat dad. I don't see why there would be more mixed women than men. Given that Japanese farmers like to marry women from the RP and then have lots of babies nowadays, I don't see why there should be any more mixed kids in the cities than the smaller towns.

Not all that many. Japan has a very homoginous native population and in Japan itself, intermarriage is not that common, even today. For many centuries (and even today) the Japanese see themselves as unique amoung the Asian people and went to great lengths to ensure that a prospective mate's bloodlines didn't contain any undesireable foreign elements. There was a lot of mistrust towards people of mixed heritage, or even Japanese who lived too long outside of Japan.

If you find any, they will most probably be in large cities with foreign guest workers and expatriates, such as Tokyo, Osaka or Fukuwara.

i've seen a few but it doesn't make up a significant number of the population. as mentioned before, they are probably concentrated in the tokyo area (tokyo, chiba, saitama, etc.) and some in osaka area.
