I was definitely happiest in January of last year. Everything was going great for me although I was working two jobs and several months previously to that, college had dropped through since my financial aid was not enough and some signatures were not given. Although I happened to be in a bad state because of that, I had two jobs that made me equally happy, I was on good terms with all of my friends, plus I had a girl by my side who I was very happy with at the time. I had just turned 18 the October prior to Januarys events and was able to do a lot of things that I could not do before such as staying out late and such. I was pretty much worry free and it seemed as if everything was settled in almost the right place and it was as if it were going to stay there.

My saddest of moments would have had to been back in October of 2006. I had just come back from MA to OH for college and had everything together in place. All that was needed was a signature once again on my 2006-2007 FAFSA which was never received from my father since he happened to lead a rather busy life and kept "forgetting". In September, I had been pulled over for driving under suspension due to not having insurance on a car that I had sold in March of 2006 and I had to go to court over the matter over a period of four months. Also, since I had moved from MA to OH, I was jobless and had run out of money and did not have the funds to keep payments up to date on my car and also had gone through a break-up as well only a day before my birthday. I was in a complete disaster. I had lived here in OH for ten years and had only gone to MA to get away from my problems here to be faced with them again in MA. But when I got back here, I also did not have as many friends as I had once had in January because of some very foul things that were said. My best friend was also not here and all this was having a huge impact on my life and I had no one that I could just turn to and talk to that was actually there in person so I had to deal with all the anxiety, depression, and sorrow by myself which proved to be harder than expected.

But all in all, the bad things in life only make the road ahead a brighter place to be and nothing is worth really getting depressed over since everything happens for a reason. We may feel depressed and feel like we have the inability to move on but if we keep strong and try our best, the path ahead is one of great paradise although it will always have its bumps along the way. What would a road be without a pothole or a stone here or there? It wouldn't be imaginable...it might wear a part of your car out but you're still able to get over it nonetheless....
