The way things are going the US seems to be on the slippery slope to being no longer the worlds top dog. As with other number one nations like England, Rome, Mongolia there is a rise followed by a falling. As the rich become richer, the poor become angry, the resouses that drive the economy dwindle and the political divisions widen, it appears the US is beginning it's decline. How long until the collapse of the United States? Will the 50 states brake apart?

As long as immigrants keep flocking to the US which allows the US to stay competitive economically with the top ecomomic powers of the world and kind of reinvents the American dream the US could stay on top or right near the top. But if immigrants are all of sudden cut off from the US we will be in big trouble and a collaspse would happen.

You're right. A country cannot maintain itself while alienating the bulk of it's citizens. America could have been a healthy society in support of a powerful country. But it isn't. It's a deeply wounded society horribly divided against itself. And a divided house cannot stand.

The end of America's dominance is near, and America's social policies have insured its demise as a world power.

I guess we will just have to wait and see, and as a matter fact the whole planet may not have much left to exist either according to how things are going.
