Urlacher is the better linebacker. Urlacher has got to do better with the run up the middle. Hillenmeyer is good and does, for the most part, what an outside linebacker should do, contain the outside run and short pass.
Linebackers shouldn't be remembered for sacks. Dick Butkus, arguably the greatest, was not known for sacks, ala Shawne Merriman and Lawrence Taylor.

for those who choose hillenmeyer obviously never watched urlacher play that much, he IS the man at the linebacker position..Go Bears!!!!!!!!

I feel Brian Urlacher is the better LB because he has been playin at the superstar level longer. Look at thier career stats then compare.
