yes, they still flame broil. They also microwave burgers after they sit in a "holder" for a while. They do this so burger is hot and melts cheese.

I recently had a Double Whopper for the first time in several years, and indeed it didn't seem flame-broiled like they used to do (and Carl's Jr./Hardee's still does), it seemed more like a McDonald's burger. Sad, they used to make a big deal about the flame broiling setting them apart. Now I know to go to Carl's Jr. instead when I want the original Burger King taste and feel.

I know Burger King...well i did, when he was still French Frie Prince.
ok well they still do flame broil their burgers, except now they have decreased the amount of grease and nafflacition that they use (nafflacition is fat and grease and some of that oily stuff you feel around the brink of your nose when you have zits like mwa...all put together)
so it's getting bit by bit healthier....
ok and i know this cus my uncle is a loser and works there.
