Hey everyone I just found out I was pregnant. I had nausea and sore breasts and everything then I got period bleeding and it was heavy. I have a family history of this {my mom had heavy bleeding while pregnant around her period every month for 6 months with all her pregnancies.. and my great grandma and grandma had the same thing also, the bleeding that is..} Well I got the bleeding but took a test because my mom told me too and it was a positive, so I went to the doc and they gave me a blood test which was positive, I told them about the bleeding and they said it happens and gave me an ultrasound, well they said everything was fine. Well the thing is right after my period {it started on Jan 7th and ended the 10th, then I spotted for a day!} , I stopped getting symptoms, and haven't had any except nausea which isn't real bad! . Has anyone had this bleeding and stuff and then their symptoms left?? Will I get my symptoms back later or?? Is this normal?? Plz help!

So you're upset because you're not nauseated and your breasts don't hurt???? LMAO

The reason for menstruation is to shed the lining of the uterus to create a fresh, new environment for an embryo to thrive. It is also controlled by the rise and fall of hormones in the body. Implantation bleeding, when the embryo is attaching to the wall of the uterus is a common cause of early bleeding. The fact that your grandma and great grandma had the same thing means that it is a hereditary trait you've acquired.

You should feel better knowing that the ultrasound said everything is fine. They would be able to detect an oncoming miscarriage because they could see the embryo detaching itself from the uterus (I had this happen during an ultrasound & they were right-I miscarried soon after)

You are SO lucky not to have really bad symptoms-many women don't. Personally I envy them because I was sick and/or sore every single day.

The only time I had a period when I was pregnant was when I was taking birth control pills-no kidding. I had a regular period because of the pills, but I also conceived while taking them! I have had friends though who have experienced the same thing you are, and they had healthy babies!

Oh yeah, CONGRATULATIONS! I wish you a healthy beautiful baby of your dreams-your life will never be the same~

You should still be pregnant if the doctor did not tell you that you had a miscarriage. Symptoms do tend to get better as your pregnancy progresses, especially morning sickness and breast tenderness. I started bleeding when I was 3 months pregnant (bright red), then the blood was brown spotting and continued for a month. The doctor thought I was probably miscarrying. Turns out I had a vanishing twin, meaning I was pregnant w/ twins and miscarried one of them. You should go in to your doctor's office, as they should be able to check for a heartbeat with a dopler if you are at least 10 weeks along. I went into my doctor's office several times to make sure there was still a heartbeat while I was bleeding, and they didn't mind. You should also be able to go to your hospital's maternity ward for them to check the heartbeat. I wish you luck.

Go bak to the Dr...I wouldn't worry if there are no symptoms and are still pregnant...I would consider myself one of the most lucky woman in the world.
