What kind of drumsticks is best for playing on an electronic drumkit? Hickory sticks seem to break easily.?

Since my drumkit is only equipped with drumpads,even the "cymbals" are actually pads,no matter,what drumsticks I use,they happen to break very easily.Any recommendations?

No. It's always been a random blunt object. Be grateful that you have people in your life who care enough to spend some money on an object to whomp on you with.
