Theres nothing much you can do but open up your ears and your heart... she may want to wallow in self pity, or she may want to set all his stuff on fire... whatever she needs you just try and be there and believe me, if your that close of friends... shell let you know what she needs from you to get through it... even if she doesnt say a word...

The best thing (and really only thing) you can do is be there for her. Support her. Let her grieve some but not for too long. Try keeping her busy as well. Let her know that you are there for her with a shoulder to cry on. There isnt too much to say but being there helps SOOOO much.

I went through a pretty messy break up me and this guy spent 3 years together and when we broke up all I wanted was my friends to kick it with me and watch movies...do normal activities to take her mind off **** thats all she wants and if she cries hug her. But let her talk on her terms just call her and ask her if she wants to go do something.

Just be nice about it, and try to have some fun to make her happy! either that, or buy her 10 gallons of ice cream to snack on, and a giftcard to blockbuster for movies to watch until she gets over the break-up.

well let them have a little pity party just dont let it go on for long listen to what they have to say and then start trying to get them to go out with friends and start doinf group things and hanging out and then maybe they will find someone else just let them know that you are there for them
and tell them to smile tomorrow is another day

Have u tried talking to her?? Try hanging out around her and see if that helps.

treat her like she is a princess!! take her out to the spa and get her a head to toe spa treatment! then take her out to a karoake/dancing place and let her have a ball!!
