If you could change the color of the sky, what color would you change it to and why?

I would never change the colour of the sky.
The sky changes colours many times EVERY DAY.
From the clear blue of a summer day,
To the soft blue of an early morning dewtime,
to being graced with fluffy white clouds that 'polka dot' the heavens
To magnificent reds, yellows, oranges shooting across the clouds at sunset
To thundering black clouds of an approaching thunderstorm,
To gray gray - overcast clouds - hiding the blues - forecasting rain or snow

The colour of the sky is reminiscent of the colours of emotions - always changing and always interesting.

I'd change it to orange. This is because it combines the energy of red and yellow. It represents enthusiam, fanascination, happiness, creativity determination, and success. It is associated with joy, sunshine, and the tropics. It is the citrus color, which brings healthy food and a nice, large appetite. =]

violet, because it wouldn't be too shockingly different than blue or the black of the night sky, the yellow sun would be in perfect contrast, and purple already looks good in sunsets.

i thought first. white , then i thought lavender because its beautiful then i thought clear, but then i saw the answers here... well i just think those colurs would look nice inthe sky. but ialso think a deep red is nice because everything else underneath it look like a different shade as its like seeing everything for the first time.

i would change it to the reddish orange that you see in the sunset and i would change it to that so the whole day has a calming feeling and maybe people would appreciate it more.

I would change it to "clear." So that we could see directly into outer-space. I think that would be cool. Or, I would change it to digital cammo. That, too, would be pretty cool.
