I know someone who works at a car dealership as a lot attendant supervisor and he is required to work six days a week because the only other lot attendant was fired. Is he legally required to do this?

Nothing legal about it, just a matter of keeping his job. He could be fired next.

It's not a question of legality, it's a question of the terms of his employment.

While there are limts on what an employer can require an employee to do working 5 or 6 or 7 days a week is not one of them. If he doesn't want to work, he can always quit.

i think of that that's great that we've arrested fifty two of them, notwithstanding if, I choose it have been so lots extra. As to what the criminal director from the ACLU reported approximately not having ever heard of absolutely everyone who isn't Hispanic being taken in for failing to apply the turn sign. that's purely completely ridiculous. in the beginning my grandfather is a cop, in a city with very few hispanics, and however the human beings they pull over maximum many times are for violations like failing to apply a turn sign or failure to return to an entire end. Time has shown that the human beings who do small issues like this are many times doing something else incorrect. He can even have considered it on law enforcement officers, the place they pull human beings over for those products each and all of the time. And previous that they weren't taken in for failing to apply their turn sign, they have been stopped for that, they have been taken in for being right here illegally and to that end breaking our regulation.

The Law in Oregon is clear, you can only make your employees work 40 hours per week, however you can spread the hours however it is convinient for the employer.

I thought it was legal to work any time you want as its your choice not your supervisors. they cant force you to work those hours.
