If its smelly, its not good. You may have bacterial vaginosis. You do not have to have sex to contract it either. Is it yellow or green and watery? If it is, go to the gynecologist. I'm sure its BV and they will prescribe you Flagyl pills or MetroGel.

It's not supposed to smell nice. That sounds weird, but it's true. Discharges are different all the time, it can be yellow, white, and even clear. This is a perfect sign that your body is acting the way it should be. Your vagina is cleaning itself out. If you don't really like the smell, you can just wash your vagina. It's best to have baths though because the water totally cleans it. If you're not convinced, then talk to your doctor. Another thing that I would suggest is www.beinggirl.com. It's a perfect webpage about sex, periods, discharges, etc.

It is normal to have some vaginal discharge always. It usually is not particularly smelly, except for being a bit musky. Your vagina is constantly shedding cells, and it produces mucous. This produces a clear to white discharge. Even though you are a virgin, this does not mean that you cannot get vaginal infections. The way you wipe yourself after defecation can transfer bacteria in your stool to your vaginal opening. If the discharge is itchy, particularly strong smelling, or looks like cottage cheese, then you need to see a doctor.
Otherwise you are perfectly normal.

It could or sounds like nothing more than a yeast infection, get this I'm 49 yrs old and was baffled but I had a yeast & bladder infection, but knew something was up with this creamy discharge
coming out It's no biggy thing, just go to your Dr. and I don't know
where you are, but in Canada we have 1 pill to cure the yeast,
not sure about the bladder infection. But r Dr. will give you meds
to clear it up. Women get these all the time you have nothing to worry about, its Mother Nature taking her coarse.
Proud of you being a Virgin, wish more kids were!!!
Best of Luck, diana d

It is just discharge, every women gets it. It is the vaginas way of cleansing itself, so there is no way to get rid of it. At least you are clean :) The only reason to be concerned is if it has a foul odor or it itches. Other than that, it is perfectly normal.

White or clear is normal, yellowish could mean you are near the period, or if it's always yellowish and smelly you have an infection! go see your doc, he will be glad to help, they see this everyday.

Having discharge is totally normal. And it changes throughout the month. If you are a virgin, then it isn't likely it is from an STD, so it isn't something that can be treated. Welcome to being a girl!

If it is white, it is called discharge. It cleans your vagina and is usually the first sign of puberty.

Maybe you get yeast infections easily. You should go to the Gyno and get checked.
