The Lost Dutchman mine is somewhere in the Superstition Mountains near Phoenix, Arizona. There are no such mountains named the "Superstitious" mountains.

I do not know about the mesa, but my father spent many years, on and off, looking for the mine. No luck. I thought it was in the Superstitious mountains. But he told me of many lost ones, i could have the area off. Thanks for bringing it to mind.
