If our legs bent the other way, we'd probably have some kind of thing to lean on rather than sit on...it would probably be more comfortable. Assuming you mean from the hips down (rather than the knees) I would suggest backless stools.

If they bent the other way, then instead of using our butts to sit we would use the more painful alternative))). So chairs would be shaped the same, since we still have to sit, its just that there would be a lot more cushioning invovlved. lol

I'd imagine we'd simply squat on very comfortable stools. Our legs being in the design they are, simply aren't suited to sitting in the type of chairs we do now.

I think we would devise something that our legs would go underneath. Perhaps something like the ergonomic stools that you can lean into with your knees.
