I've heard alot of debate about whether women not be allowed to do certain things such as compete in certain sports, be in certain political offices etc.
Women are making their impacts on the world known more and more often, more countries have/had a female president, sports are having women included in them and the world really has changed. Ex. Danica Patrick in IRL, Hilary Clinton running for President
Not be sexist or anything but I think women should sustain themselves to things that they traditionally do and refrain from activities that are generally masculinaly dominated.
I mean if I saw a female in the NFL, NBA, MLB, President of the US, I would ask myself what has this world become? What do you think?

Truth be known is that man's technological mind has advanced to the point where even kids can operate or do things that once took hefty arms and shoulders to do.
Then here cumms along women saying all along that they could do what a man could do. BULL SHEET, eh?
As far as physical sports they cannot compete with men. Look at Michele Wie's failure even in GOLF! 5' 1" Todd blows her away as the youngest golfer in a long time in the PGA. It still takes a man!
Women do not understand "structure describes action". Women in sports suffer NUMEROUS injuries greater than men. Their bone design and tendon input are not designed for strenuous physical activity. But for some reason they want to be like men.
As far as Danica Patrick is concerned, she could have never gotten there, if it weren't for the genius of the suberb engineering of the MEN around her. Note; she is surrounded by men. No women mechs, crew, etc. Other wise just consider her a novelty.
Bottom line: Women are novelties in todays sports world and don't send a women to do a MAN'S job!

I don't see what is so scary about this for you. Just because a woman becomes president or a woman decides to throw a basketball in a hoop is no reason for men to go into distress mode. The bottom line is that Women - who are also human beings - deserve the right to participate in whatever activity they desire!
How would you like to be told that you couldn't do something that you really had dreamed of doing... just because you have a penis? I'm not saying that we should have female running backs joining the NFL, however if a group of woman want to start a woman's league, who has the right to stop them.
Certainly not you.

You've got to be kidding. Are you serious with this question? Like men have done such a great job at running the country, the world and the mid-east just to start. Give me a break. BTW, when I was in high-school, we had female football teams and it was a blast and wonderfully physically tough or intense. We played at home when the guys played at away games.

You do make an interesting sociological point, but you don't explain why you think women should stick to traditional activities. Throughout history, women have assumed traditional male roles. Granted, they were exceptions to the rule, but were found to be deserving of the titles and honors they received. Now that women are enjoying the freedom to pursue careers of their choice, it is difficult to find an occupation of any kind where there isn't at least one woman capable of achieving the same results as men. That being said, I can think of one arena where the rules have been changed to accomodate women that may not be advantageous: The military. Women are not subjected to the same physical training standards as men, are not required to score as high in aptitude, and are not required to maintain the same accuracy levels. If women are just as capable as men, then why was it necessary to lower the standards to accommodate women? This seems unreasonable.

Oh, dear, John. I would think that the world had finally come to its senses.
There aren't any things that a woman should not be allow do to . Perhaps some that might be hard for them to do.

I think women have other strenghts and weaknesses than men. A female football team? Why not - as long as there are people watching and the advertising runs.
A female polician? Just my personal opinion, but: Can there be a worse American President than Bush jun???

"Not to be sexist"? You realize of course that your remarks are nothing but sexist if not ignorant. I don't know any women who want to play on mens' sports teams, but if they could qualify then who the hell are you to say yay or nay? Are you one of those self righteous know it alls who think it's your business to decide whether women have the right to decide if they can have abortion too? Whose narrow minded crap have you been listening to?This
is not the middle east. women have the brains to know and the right to decide exactly what they're capable of doing without any help from you.
After all...they've done pretty well without your help so far.

Women should not be allowed to do jobs that require excellent upper body strength to save lives. However, most of the time women are faster thinkers than Men and can do 99.9 % of jobs as good or better than a man can do.

What is it with women thinking they can do as good or better than a man?
I can do anything better than a woman!!
Edit: Btw I think women should be allowed to play in any sport or job as long as it's not too physically intense.
