It feels like WWE are forcing the fans to support him. Yes he has the potential but WWE are making him the top star when there are more deserving wrestlers. WWE needs to realise that the fans can choose their own stars. Even if you go to a WWE show they won't allow you to bring a negative Cena sign. I think the reason some fans boo him is not because they actually hate him but they are trying to make a statement that they don't want him as the wwe champ. To tell the truth I haven't liked Cena since he had that rivalry with Booker T in 2004 but I must admit that he has improved in his wrestling skills. I don't think I actually hate Cena but just the way the WWE are using him. why are WWE doing this

They aren't forcing people to like Cena...they tried that remember.
Result: He got booed out of every arena he showed up at.
Aftermath: Cena picked up the ball again, brought some actual WRESTLING moves to the table, stopped talking so much, and started kicking *** like he used to.
Aftermath result: People are starting to cheer for him again.
Personal Note: The WWE has everybody decieved. The fans think that Vince has it in his head that we are all stupid and so he can continue to force a champion who nobody likes down everybody's throat. But what they don't realize...is that everybody tuned(tunes) in to see Cena...now whether they tune in to boo him or cheer him is completley irrelevant...they still come to see him. Think of it as an accidental HHH movement...when he's the champion, you tune in every week with just the hopes that he's going to get his that night...and when he doesn't, you tune in the next week. John Cena has served his job perfectly...he played the heel without actually playing the heel! Did nobody stop to think that when the fans started booing Cena because his matches were lame that Vince made him START doing that more BECAUSE the fans didn't like it?

It's because he works the mic the best, he has character and he's a very colorful person, just like the Rock, didn't do many moves in the ring, but entertained the crap out of the crowd, it's the "Babyface" persona that WWE wants the crowd to back up, booing a face is like against all things in the WWE, you cheer the faces, boo the heels, that's their rules, not mine, personally I like the characters like Undertaker and Kane, that just kick the crap out of anyone whether they play a heel or a face, you really don't know what they are because they fight anyone rather than just heels or just faces

ti dont think you can honestly say WWE are forcing fans Jason.Fans will support whoever they want -Vince wont change their allegiances.Cena is poular as hes an entertainer & has good mic skills.Raw need a face hes the best choice v a heel like Umaga.
Besides Cena like DX are gold dust.they sell tickets & merchandise by the bucketload.As long as the dosh comes in i dont think Vince worries whos who.You cant force ppl to like anyone - remember the Boogeyman fiasco?

They are forcing the 4 move wonder is being down the throats of the fans cause it's Vince's desire. He is is booed as much as he is chaif but the making him into this superman who overcomes any odds is crap.He is booed cause his act tis tried it's almost like watching hogan in the early 90's before he left WWE. Act like Cena's that annoying uncle nobody like that comes home for Thanksgiving.If you get mad at him and yell he'll bother you.But if you ignore him he'll EVENTUALLY go away!
People as a Cena Hater I'm telling you JUST DON'T WATCH ratings will drop enough that Cena will get his belt taken away from him and he might go back to being at an Intercontinental level!

i havent watched wwe for ages and i dont know who john cena is but if the fans hate him he should play with the crowd the way the rock did so brilliantly when he was the corperate champion in the late 90's

It brings them money WWE never will care about fans only about the money. if they lose it they won't do dumb crap like that. But as long as they still get billions of dollars they won't chage because people don't like how talentless one guy is.
