to all the idiot assholes blaming zidane, let me ask you one question. So materazzi says something then zidane says something, then materazzi, then zidane, and so on and so forth. when or how does it end? obviously the red card has to be shown to whoever gets caught being belligerent/abusive (or whatever you want to call it) whether it's verbal or not. So why put all the blame on zidane's headbutt when in reality Materazzi should've been sent off had he been caught by the Ref insulting zidane's sister. Obviously the scenario of Materazzi getting caught for a verbal insult is too far-fetched, but that doesn't make it unreal. What zidane did was cut short a series of verbal insults which had they continued would've eventually caused one of the 2 players to get sent off, if not both. So stop blaming zidane because he "acted" unprofessionally. The unprofessionalism started as soon as Materazzi started pulling on zidane's shirt.

Ok, I'll go with that as long as you put the headbutted on the ground, faking and cheating his way out or not.
