At various points on the engine block, they are pressed in. Sometimes they rust through and you have to replace them, otherwise I don't know why you would care.

There are usually 10
Three on each side of the block below the exhaust manifolds in the area below the spark plugs and one on each end of the heads.

there on the side of engine block there round and made of soft metal look below exhaust manifold,there are different sizes from 1" to 1/12 inch approx. if one is out or leaking you should be able to locate it by the liquid coming out

All over it.
three each side of the engine.
Two at the rear of the engine encased by the Trans. belhousing.
Two behind the waterpump.

they are on the side of the engine block and any parts store carries them.
