Well, I have to say limewire. I have just over 7000 mp3's from that site and in the 5 years of downloading, I have never had a problem yet.
Unlike that Kazaa crapola BS software that had Adware and everything else.

Morpheus is a pretty solid freeware download program, but BEWARE! I have gotten multiple trojan viruses from downloading music. It puts all of your downloads into a folder so you could scan them all easily with a virus scanner to stomp out the trojans before they become problems. Norton Antivirus even alerts you when a recent download is contaminated with a trojan. Here are some links:

for Norton, I reccomend getting at least some kind of virus scanner if you are going to download anything.

I hope I helped!

There's no need to take the risk of illegally downloading "free" songs (and possible viruses and spyware with them) when you can safely and legally buy them for $.10 - $.15 each. Full albums are less than $3.00:

I've used this site for almost 2 years now and love it! Millions of songs, no software to download, and it won't put any crapware on your computer.

Take care & enjoy!
