Don't worry, this is completly normal. It takes a year or two for a girl's period to become regular, or even semi-regular. You could see a doctor if you are really worried, but I would say just wait, especially if you are young, this is normal.

Go see your gynecologist ASAP. You should when you start your period anyhow.
NOW - are you EATING enough? Are you a decent weight? Do you OVER-exercise? There is a condition called amenorhia (which is MUCH more likely than a tumor) it is common in young women who are UNDERWEIGHT, have POOR NUTRITION, and exercise TOO MUCH. Amenorhia means you don't get your period. Also, if you are highly stressed out, this can cause you to skip your period.
If you JUST started having a period, you are going to be irregular for a while until your body settles into a cycle, and even then, you may never have a regular period. PLEASE go see a gynecologist to make sure everything is OK.

If that was your first and only period then chances are things are fine. When I had my first period the next one didn't come back until almost a year later. This is not uncommon amongst young girls. If you feel something is wrong then it's probably best you go see your doctor or tell your mother/parent.

Have you had any weight fluctuations lately? Sometimes a period stopping can be the result of a dramatic weight change or stress. Also, if you do any sort of athletic activities it can cause you to lose your period.
In any case, you should probably stop by and visit your doctor just to make sure it's nothing serious.

For the first year or two, your cycle may not be regular, and you may not have a period sometimes. If you are underweight because of dieting or exercise, have a lot of stress in your life, or are overweight, your periods may be hard to predict.

See a doctor. If you are just starting, it is likely they can be irregular! But, you may want to see a doctor or ask your school nurse about it too.

go the doctor soon as possible. It could be a tumor or a cyst, kidney stones or somethings. I would contact my doctor immediately!

you're going to worry yourself into a tizzy!
hormones come in surges, so you may have gotten enough of a spike that caused you to menstruate for a bit and then it died back down,,, it;ll return eventually, and more even as you get older

Oh, relax. How old are you? If you are a young teen, your periods are not regular yet. Talk with your mother.
