Yes... Because we cannot re-do the past. It is behind us. We can only go forward from this point one moment at a time. So if a past memory comes up, allow it to! What is it trying to tell you? How do you really feel about it? Come into your truth. Then, go with what you are getting. We have to accept the past, and start focus on what we can experience or create in this now moment. The only time it will serve us to think about the past is when we truly want to learn and grow from our past experiences. As we begin to start our new day, we have to follow our inner guidance. Because that is what will create our “future” and it will result in the greatest life we could possibly have.

close the door on al that makes u upset an u'd rather 4 get or made u upset others. emotions r like water u let em go either as a waterfall or slowly like a dripping tap so dry em away and close the door throw away the key and lookon with a smile 2 the coming day!

I don't know the lyrics - but I don't think we should!
I figure, my past experiences have made me who I am today... and believe it or not... I kinda like that person!
AND:
"IF YOU DON'T KNOW HISTORY - YOU ARE BOUND TO REPEAT IT"
However, I think we should continue to move forward :
"IF YOU LIVE YOUR LIFE IN THE PAST, YOU WON'T GET ANYWHERE IN THE FUTURE!"
